Motorcycle Photo Collection.

 As per Title...

Once, a while ago,  I documented my ideal room for "work on the road". 

Now, as I'm getting sentimental, and I need better documentation of my "time on the road". Hence this collection of notes and pictures.

The routes between 2016 and 2024 were "logged and mapped" by myadventure.bike. but that app + webstite have stopped.

In my first few years on the motorcycle: I had to do The Classics (some passes I had already done by car as well...)

Here was the Transfagarasan in 2014..

And I had to ride it to Paris.

And Rome

And when the pressure of "landmark hunting" was off, I could start to Really Enjoy the rides...

That first motorcycle did just over 180.000 km before it was truly exhausted...

Moto nr 2 did similar expeditions..

I once tried to take a picutuire of an "open" boder-crossing, when a german couple "in rente" parked brutally in front of me becasue they wanted a quick-foto of the same ...

And of course I visited Zeljava Airbase in ex-Yugoslavia...

That 2nd motorcycle also did over 160.000 km, and collected a lot of vignettas..

Motorcycle nr 3... some would consider this the first "Proper Touring" moto..

CH, in corona-times even...

Not superstitious, but on most trips, I take at least 1 picture of a Stork-nest. In Slavic countries, those birds carry Luck! This picture is in Slavonia, somewhere between Zagreb and Serbian border. 

Burgass train station. It was already my 9th visit to Bulgaria and I've always enjoyed that country partly bcse of the BgOUG conferences. But this time I made a point of going all the way to Burgas and Varna: the first time I got the motorcycle as far as the Black Sea.

(Yes, I also visited the Shipka Monument, I now is is an issue in Bulgaria...)

My Yearly entry into Poland, took this picture on Every Visit to POUG:

And the Yearly Visit to HROUG in Rovinj, last few years they had a special moto-parking at the harbour.. Every Conf-visitor has this picture, but I was the only one arriving by Motorcycle..

(after nr 4 got stolen in Milano, I've remained moto-less for a while...)
